- Ultrafast MPPT Technology — Continuously tracks the true maximum power point to improve energy harvest by up to 30% over PWM controllers and up to 10% over slower MPPT controllers in all light conditions.
- Battery Life Algorithm — Intelligent battery management monitors state of charge daily and automatically adjusts load disconnect levels to prevent lead-acid battery damage from chronic partial charging.
- 12V / 24V / 48V Auto Select — Automatically detects and supports all three battery voltages, making it one of the most versatile controllers in its class for flexible system design.
- Short Circuit-Proof Load Output — Protected load output disconnects loads at a pre-set voltage or via Battery Life algorithm, with full inverter compatibility via remote control connection.
- Programmable Charge Algorithm — Fully programmable charge settings with day/night timing and light dimming options for complete system customization.
The BlueSolar MPPT 100/20-48V delivers 20A of rated charge current and handles up to 290W on 12V, 580W on 24V, and 1,160W on 48V systems. Its 100V maximum PV open circuit voltage provides broad solar panel compatibility across all supported battery voltages.
Real-time monitoring and programming are available via Color Control GX or other GX devices for wired integration. Bluetooth access is available via a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle for wireless smartphone monitoring and configuration.
Comprehensive protection covers output short circuit and over-temperature derating, with the unit operating reliably across a -30°C to +60°C temperature range. The IP43-rated blue enclosure meets international safety certifications including EN/IEC 62109-1, UL 1741, and CSA C22.2.
