Lifting is by direct-drive pull cylinders — no chains or roller bearings in the drive path to wear and stretch over time. Lowering is handled from one station: the single-point safety-latch release drops both columns' locks together, so there is no walking around the vehicle with a bar. A padded overhead shut-off bar stops travel before a roof meets the crossbeam, and heavy-duty arm restraints hold position under load.
The clear-floor design leaves 104" of drive-thru clearance and nothing on the slab between the columns — transmission jacks and oil drains roll straight through. Spin-up low-profile pads (4" minimum height) get under rocker panels, and the included stackable truck adapters add 2" and 4" of reach for frame-contact points on trucks and SUVs, taking maximum lift height to 76-1/2" with the tallest adapter fitted.
Site requirements, straight up: 220V single-phase service on a 20-amp circuit, indoor installation, and concrete at least 4-1/4" thick rated 3,000 PSI — the columns are supported only by their floor anchors, so the slab matters. Overall height is 144", so a bay just over 12 feet clears the crossbeam. Warranty
Tuxedo backs the TP11KC-DX with a 5-year structural warranty and a 1-year electrical, hydraulic, and parts warranty. Tuxedo pays shipping on warranty parts for the first 30 days; wear items are excluded. Cylinders found defective in the first 30 days are replaced outright (seal kits are supplied after that window). Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery ticket — any damage or shortage must be noted on the ticket and reported within 72 hours of delivery.

The install checklist calls for 12 quarts of SAE-10 / AW-32 non-detergent hydraulic oil (buyer-supplied), a concrete hammer drill for the anchors, and a second set of hands or a hoist for the overhead beam.
