Installation Instructions

Step 1 – Measure & Prepare

Ensure the cover is wide enough to bridge the gap between the two floor coverings.

Step 2 – Secure the Base

Secure the aluminium base using contact adhesive or mechanical fixings (screws or nails).

Step 3 – Position the Clips

Slide the appropriate clips onto the cover strip, placing them 2–3cm from each end and spacing the rest evenly.

Step 4 – Align and Lock

Align the clips with the base and apply even pressure to lock them into the channel.

Step 5 – Tap into Place

Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the cover into its final position.

Step 6 – Tight Fit Adjustment

The track is designed for a tight fit to ensure the best profile performance.
If you find the clips difficult to push in, try this trick: insert a red clip upside down and gently tap it with a mallet, then remove it. This will slightly widen the slot, making it easier to fit the profile and clips into place.
