The “multi” in Tank Multi-Squat speaks to the machine's two primary positions. The rear-facing stance focuses the weight on the user's glutes and hamstrings, while the front-facing option shifts that tension to the front of the legs, specifically the quadriceps while diminishing overall stress on the joints. For either position, the Tank offers three-inch-thick upholstery for maximal user comfort no matter how you use it.

These two positions are not the only adjustments available to athletes using the Tank. The diamond-tread footplate has two pin ports that provide the user with 4 inches of upward tilt, and its sheer size—38 inches by 27.5 inches—offers a variety of foot positions from which to lift the Tank's impressive 675-pound capacity that can be further intensified with resistance bands attached to the four band pegs at the machine’s base. The weights you are not using can be stored on the Tank’s two 7-inch storage horns. If the load becomes unbearable, remember that the Tank is self-spotting. Simply place your foot on the spotting pedal (hard to miss at 17 by 8 inches), and an 11-gauge steel joist will swing in to support the primary arm.
