STORM SERIES GEMINI CABLE PULLEY ATTACHMENT

Mount the Gemini Cable Pulley Attachment on a Storm Series platform or any rack or rig that features 3-inch-by-3-inch support beams and 1-inch ports to turn a basic fitness platform into a robust and sophisticated pulley system. The Gemini pulley attachment runs on three coasters, which are included in the price of the attachment. The first coaster serves as a base through which the primary cable runs over aluminum pulleys and on which we’ve installed a 2-inch thick, 2” by 4” rubber pad to diminish noise and increase the platform’s durability over time.

The middle coaster features two 10-inch weight horns which take the Gemini Cable Pulley’s upward capacity to 725 pounds, provided the athlete is using 45-pound weights the size of our Olympic cast-iron plates.

Both the pulley on the middle coaster and the pulley on the top coaster move the central apparatus at a ratio of 2:1. If that sounds confusing, you can just watch the video and see it in motion. This specific arrangement allows athletes to perform standing bicep curls, mid-rows, and cable pulldowns at a distance of 80 inches from the upright. 

Besides including three coasters, the Gemini Cable Pulley Attachment comes with a pair of polycarbonate D-handles. Other attachments can be purchased from our website so you can perform a wide variety of exercises on a simple but elegant pulley system mounted to the side of your squat rack.
