At the heart of the system is the SRNE MD1250, which combines a high-performance MPPT solar charge controller and a powerful 50A DC-to-DC battery charger in one compact unit.

By combining two charging functions into a single device, the MD1250 reduces the number of components required, simplifies installation and saves valuable space within your vehicle.

Solar and Alternator Charging in One Unit

The MD1250 allows your leisure battery to be charged from two separate energy sources:

Up to 380W of solar power from the two included Victron Energy solar panels
Up to 50A of charging power from the vehicle’s alternator while driving

Its advanced MPPT technology continually adjusts the solar input to maximise the energy harvested from the panels, helping to deliver efficient charging throughout the day and during changing weather conditions.

Built-In Bluetooth Monitoring

Integrated Bluetooth allows you to connect the MD1250 directly to the dedicated SRNE app for iPhone and Android devices.

Through the app, you can conveniently monitor system performance, view charging information and adjust compatible settings from your smartphone or tablet.

Expandable SRNE Power System

The MD1250 can operate as a standalone charger or form part of a complete SRNE AC and DC power-management system.

As your power requirements grow, the system can be expanded with compatible SRNE equipment, including:

SRNE CU data control unit

SRNE inverter or inverter-charger

Starter Battery Back-Charging

The MD1250 also features a useful starter battery back-charge function.

Should your vehicle’s starter battery become discharged, the appropriate operating mode can be selected to transfer power from the leisure battery back to the starter battery, helping you get the vehicle started and back on the road.

Please ensure the system is installed and configured correctly before using the back-charge function.
