Description

Ultra-low viscosity polymer concrete repair binder

Poly Fix® is a robust, two-component, ultra-low viscosity hybrid polyurethane binder designed for concrete repair. Its consistency is akin to water, enabling it to effectively penetrate hairline cracks or, when combined with dry sand, to repair concrete spalls or control joints. Poly Fix® is also an excellent solution for healing and sealing deteriorated concrete surfaces. Notably, it contains no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), aligning with environmental compliance.

  • Simple 1:1 mix ratio
  • Seals concrete against liquid absorption
  • Resists a variety of chemicals
  • Changes from dark amber to gray upon curing
  • Cures in just 10 minutes at 75°F
  • Structurally restores concrete
  • Provides durable, permanent repairs
  • Zero VOCs, ensuring environmental safety

Application

Primary Applications:

  • Bridge and Parking Decks
  • Auto/Truck Repair Bays

  • Freezer Floors and Low Temperature Repairs

Application Instructions:

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure the concrete is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. New concrete should be at least 30 days old.
  • Crack Preparation: Use appropriate tools to prepare and clean cracks.
  • Cartridge Mixing: Condition Poly Fix® between 60°F to 80°F, shake well, and use with a dual cartridge gun for application.
  • Bulk Mixing: For larger repairs, mix in small batches due to the rapid setting nature of the product.
  • Placement: For larger repairs, prime the area with Poly Fix®, fill with dry sand, and saturate with Poly Fix® for a complete repair.
