The 2-Tier Scout has space for 24 (12 pairs) of hexagonally-shaped standard-sized dumbbells. Obviously, if you have smaller dumbbells, you can fit more, and fewer if you have larger ones, but weight is not an issue, these racks are rated for 2,500 pounds, so if you only have 50-pound dumbbells, you won’t have to worry about stability. The standard Scout comes with two shelves, with the option to add a third, and can be assembled by the user with relative ease. Like the vanguard units who gave the Scout its name, these racks will show you the proverbial lay of the land. Now you know what you have to work with.
