The J-3 Series Smith Machine Add-On allows you to conveniently convert your power rack into a Smith Machine, while keeping the same functions of a regular power rack (excluding the flip down safeties).

The Smith Machine Add-On is easily assembled, fixing to the side crossmembers while using the existing front uprights for the included Metal Pins for storage and for the Safety Hooks. 

By using the front uprights to hook the smith machine, it reduces the space required for the attachment, allowing more accessories to be attached to the rack in future while keeping the back two uprights free to continue to use as a normal power rack. 

The Smith Machine Add-On comes with 6x Metal Pins, which can be placed in any of the side holes along the front upright, so you can choose the most suitable height depending on the exercises you are performing.

These pins are also where the Smith Machine can be hooked onto and stored in-between sets.

The Smith Machine also comes with Safety Hooks that also attach to the Metal Pins, so you can adjust the height for different exercises. These Safety Hooks catch the bar in the event of a failed lift. 

When attaching the Smith Machine, the Flip Down Safeties won't be compatible on the inside of the rack.
