Pylontech US5000-1C Lithium Battery 4.8kWh to 72.96kWh
The Pylontech US5000-1C is one of the most widely used low-voltage lithium batteries for off-grid and residential energy storage. It is a modular system, so capacity can be expanded as needed by adding more batteries in parallel.
You can connect up to 16 units in parallel, giving a total usable capacity of up to 72.96kWh, without needing an additional low-voltage hub.
The built-in Battery Management System (BMS) protects the cells and allows up to 95% depth of discharge, meaning you can use more of the stored energy.
Important: One pair of Pylontech US5000 battery brackets is required for each battery.
Safety and Compliance
When installed in or near residential buildings, the installer must ensure the system complies with PAS 63100:2024, which covers fire protection for battery energy storage systems used in dwellings.
Installation Options
Storage batteries are ideally installed outside living areas and away from rooms used for habitation.
Remote monitoring is available via smartphone or web portal.

Battery Technology
The US5000-1C uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, known for their stability and safety. Pylontech’s vertically integrated manufacturing and self-designed BMS protect against abnormal temperature, voltage, current, state of charge (SoC), and state of health (SoH).
This battery is designed specifically for low-voltage 48V systems and allows independent monitoring and management of each battery in the system.
Inverter Compatibility
The Pylontech US5000-1C is compatible with the following single-phase hybrid and AC-coupled inverters:
- Solis RAI 5G 3.0kW AC Coupled Inverter Charger
- Solis 3.0kW, 3.6kW, 4.6kW, 5.0kW and 6.0kW 5G Hybrid Inverters
- Sunsynk ECCO 3.6kW, 5.0kW and 8.0kW
- Sunsynk Max 16.0kW
