Outdoor-ready 48V battery storage with cold-weather support

The Pylontech Fidus Pro FB-L-5.12-EU-Pro is a 51.2V LiFePO4 battery for low-voltage hybrid solar, backup and off-grid energy-storage systems. Its integrated self-heating function is designed to support use in low-temperature environments, while the IP65-rated enclosure offers protection suited to appropriately selected outdoor and challenging installation locations.

Each battery provides 5.12kWh nominal capacity and 4.86kWh usable capacity. CAN and RS485 communications allow integration with compatible inverter systems, subject to confirmation of the inverter’s approved battery protocol and system design.

The Pylontech Fidus Pro 5.12kWh battery can be used in compatible 48V solar and battery systems for commercial premises, agricultural buildings, workshops, mobile or remote power applications, and off-grid or backup installations. It is particularly relevant where low ambient temperatures make a self-heating battery configuration beneficial.

This is not a plug-and-play product. A complete installation must include compatible inverter communications, correctly rated DC cabling and protection, battery isolation, suitable mounting and system commissioning.
