The weight stack is housed in a trapezoidal case made of laser-etched steel and polycarbonate glass to give it a distinct outline that is especially striking when Shock Series machines are placed in a straight line. The three-inch-thick pad gives athletes using the Assisted Dip-Pullup platform on which to rest their knees as they perform either dips or pullups. If, however, no assistance is needed, the pad can fold back into the machine so that the user can then perform those exercises unassisted. The machine bar offers four variations of pull-ups (more if you’re creative) and two variations of dips, wide and narrow.
