The PD52 is a heavy-duty, RV-grade automatic transfer switch that cleanly switches your coach or tiny-home system between shore power and generator (or inverter) power. It uses interlocked 2-pole contactors to prevent backfeed and incorporates a time-delay start so the generator can stabilize before it is allowed to carry the load.
Once shore power returns and stabilizes, the unit re-transfers automatically with a brief delay to protect connected appliances. A rugged galvanized-steel enclosure, screw-type landing lugs, and a simple layout make installation straightforward for 120/240 V split-phase 50 A services.
The PD52 prioritizes safe, reliable transfer under high loads, supports auto-gen-start detection on select variants, and is built for years of service in motorhomes, fifth-wheels, and advanced van/RV conversions where code-compliant switching and uptime matter.
