The PMK1350 is a complete pond filtration system: a 350 GPH circulation pump paired with the PM1000 pressurized filter in one matched kit. Everything needed for pond biological and mechanical filtration ships together, and the components are matched so the pump flow and filter rating work together without oversizing either unit. It is the right starting point for ponds up to 1,000 gal (3,800 L) with light to moderate fish stocking.

Choosing a pump and filter separately means calculating flow rate compatibility, checking fitting sizes, and confirming media volumes match the pond load. The PMK1350 removes that process. The 350 GPH pump turns over a 1,000 gal pond once every three hours at rated conditions, aligning with the PM1000's biological capacity for light fish loads. The kit includes all fittings needed for initial plumbing.

How to Use

Place the pump at the deepest point in the pond. Connect the pump outlet to the filter inlet using flexible tubing. Route the filter return to the waterfall or pond return point. Prime the filter by filling with water before starting the pump. Backwash the PM1000 every 2 to 4 weeks when flow drops noticeably. Run 24 hours a day for continuous biological filtration.
