The Oase 60 W UVC lamp is the highest-output replacement ultraviolet bulb in the FiltoClear range, designed for the FiltoClear 8200 that serves large pond systems. This lamp provides the UV intensity needed to control algae and pathogens in high-volume, heavily stocked ponds where lower-wattage lamps cannot keep up.
Maximum UV Power for Large Ponds
Large ponds with significant fish populations produce more dissolved organic waste, which shields algae from UV light. The 60 W lamp compensates with higher intensity, ensuring effective kill rates even in nutrient-rich water. Replace the bulb annually — UV output drops below useful levels after one full season regardless of whether the lamp still appears to glow.

Installation
Disconnect the filter from power. Open the UV lamp access port, remove the old bulb, and slide the new one into the socket. Wear gloves to avoid fingerprint oils on the glass.
