Combined Handle and Multi-Way Valve for FiltoClear Filters
The Oase FiltoClear 3400 / 5200 / 8200 (gen 3) handle/valve assembly combines the filter's carrying handle with the multi-way valve that switches between filtration, backwash, and drain modes. This dual-function component is central to daily operation and maintenance — if either the valve or handle fails, this single replacement covers both.
Three Operating Modes
The integrated valve lets you switch the filter from normal operation to backwash mode with a single lever motion, flushing trapped debris out through the waste port. A third drain position empties the filter completely for winterisation or deep cleaning. Replacing the entire assembly ensures both the valve mechanism and handle are factory-fresh.

Installation
Depressurise the filter and disconnect all hoses. Remove the old handle/valve unit by releasing its mounting fasteners. Seat the new assembly, reconnect hoses to the correct ports (inlet, outlet, waste), and tighten all connections. Cycle through all three valve positions to confirm smooth operation before pressurising.
Ideal for FiltoClear gen 3 owners whose backwash valve is stiff, leaking, or stuck in one position.
