This compact and efficient gravity outlet, flow-through filter box revolutionizes pond maintenance with its innovative automated pre-filter conveyor that screens out larger debris. The porous belt on the conveyor transports debris to a spacious collection basket for easy periodic emptying. The Screendrive mechanism, driven by a specialized cleaning sensor, automatically controls the belt functions based on dirt levels, allowing only small particles to pass through to the biological/mechanical filter foams. These foams effectively trap and break down organic waste, significantly reducing the biological load and maintenance requirements.
Water enters the filter through a flow spreader onto a 300-micron fabric belt, which strains out solid waste particles. When the belt becomes soiled, a sensor activates a motor to start a cleaning cycle, transferring waste to a collection tray below. The control display offers instant cleaning cycles at the press of a button, with an adjustable waste sensor for personalized cleaning intervals. A supplied cleaning brush keeps the fabric screen free of dirt.
After the mechanical straining process, water progresses through eight large filter sponges of varying coarseness—blue for rough, violet for medium fine, and red for very fine. These sponges provide ample surface area for aerobic bacteria to thrive and break down soluble waste pollutants. Cleaning the filter foams is made easy with a compression handle that releases organic waste buildup. Finally, water passes through cartridges containing 3.5 kg of granulate media (zeolite), binding unwanted nutrients and trace ammonia before returning to the pond. This system ensures smart, efficient, and hassle-free pond filtration and water quality maintenance, ideal for ornamental, Goldfish, and Koi ponds.
