Description
The Mantis does not stand alone and must be attached to a Storm Series rack, a Lightning Series rack, or a wall. Once bolted in, however, the Mantis becomes a one-pulley 2:1-ratio functional trainer. Its pulley housing is adjustable and can be moved up and down through 18 positions, totaling 78 inches of vertical adjustment. Its steel cable is coated in nylon and travels smoothly through its furrows so that the only obstacles facing athletes who use it are their own physical limitations which can--thanks to a 200-lb. weight stack--quickly be reached. Speaking of, BOLT offers both plate-loaded and selectorized Mantises, so make sure you’re getting the platform that’s right for you.
