The Silverback is the third largest of the Lightning Series racks, after the Warrior and the Machine, making it more suited to home gym athletes, but don’t let its target demographic fool you. The Silverback is a beast of great size and power.

The footprint--the space inside the rack--is 30-by-51 inches, room enough for all the Olympic lifts which, depending on the rating of your J-hooks or spotter arms, can be performed at an upper capacity of 1,000 pounds, thanks to the Silverback’s heavy-duty 3-by-2-inch 11-gauge steel beams. Every aspect of this rack is built to last, from the quality of its steel to the thick coat of powder-black paint that makes the Silverback extremely resistant to chipping or scratching while, at the same time, looking great.
