The clear-floor configuration runs the equalizer cables overhead instead of underfoot, leaving the bay open for jacks, transmissions, and rolling tool storage. Reinforced industrial-steel columns and a direct-drive cylinder system carry the load, and a single-point release synchronizes the safety locks across both posts.
The KT-M140XD uses double S-shaped columns that distribute load stress more evenly than standard rectangular tube and resist inward flex when the lift is loaded. The hydraulic system is direct-drive — no chain: the cylinder pushes the lifting carriage directly through a steel cable, reducing moving parts, lowering noise to under 75 dB(A), and cutting routine maintenance compared to chain-driven designs.

Symmetric arms adjust to common lifting points on trucks, SUVs, and vans, and minimum pad height drops to 4.33 inches for lower vehicles.

The single-point lock release engages and disengages the safety locks on both columns simultaneously, keeping the lift level under load and reducing the risk of asymmetric drop during descent.
