The Katool KT-5DA 3D / 5D wheel alignment machine uses dual industrial cameras and reflective targets to read four-wheel geometry in real time. From a single setup, the system captures toe, camber, caster, thrust angle, steering axis inclination, and track-width and wheelbase differential, then renders the readings on a shop monitor while the technician makes corrections.
The KT-5DA is a wheeled, two-column rig with an alloy-steel frame finished in red, an integrated keyboard tray, a tablet shelf, and a thermal printer for printing alignment reports. Removable wheel clamps adjust to a wide range of rim sizes and attach without marring the wheel surface. Each camera column rolls on locking casters so the rig can be repositioned between bays.
The software is computer-controlled, runs on a high-definition shop monitor, and supports remote operation via cloud sync — database updates and remote support reach the unit without a service visit. The vehicle database covers most current car and light-truck makes and models, and technicians can save self-added profiles for fleet vehicles or older platforms.
