The J&K Tool Company Kwik Klamp 3 is a heavy-duty patented pipe clamp designed specifically for 6" PVC and HDPE pipe, dual load-rated to 7,500 lbs at the bell end and 4,000 lbs at flush joint — with an optional conversion kit for 5" pipe.
Key Features:
- Dual Load-Tested Ratings — 7,500 lbs Bell End / 4,000 lbs Flush Joint: Third-party certified under two separate load test reports (ESP026328P), providing verified holding strength for both bell end and flush joint 6" PVC pipe configurations.
- 20 Carbide-Tipped Gripper Bolts: Purpose-built 3/8-16 x ½" carbide-tipped bolts deliver aggressive, slip-resistant grip on 6" PVC and HDPE pipe for secure holding under full working load.
- 19" Lever Handle with Over-Center Jaw Locking: Extended 19" lever delivers maximum mechanical advantage, locking jaws securely over-center when downward pressure is applied — with a ½" safety pin preventing accidental unclamping.
- Optional 5" Conversion Kit: An optional kit of 10 jaw pads and 20 carbide-tipped 3/8-16 x 1" bolts (sold separately) converts the KK3 to hold 5" PVC pipe, extending versatility across common large-diameter well casing sizes.
- Heavy-Duty All-Steel Construction — Made in USA: Built from 2" and 2½" quarter-inch wall steel tube at 37 lbs, manufactured in Wheaton, MN USA under a patented design for over 40 years.
The Kwik Klamp 3 is the purpose-built solution for environmental drillers, pump installers, well servicemen, and water well drillers working with 6" PVC casing — the most common large-diameter well casing size in residential and commercial water well applications.
Its lever-operated over-center design brings pipe joints up to easy working level with one-hand operation for efficient, controlled installation and service.
The dual certified load ratings reflect real-world conditions: 7,500 lbs when clamping under the pipe bell end and 4,000 lbs on flush joint PVC, giving installers precise load data for both common 6" PVC joint configurations.
The optional 5" conversion kit uses longer 1" carbide bolts in place of the standard ½" bolts to maintain proper grip geometry on the smaller pipe diameter.
