The iTECHBC8 8A Intelligent Battery Charger is a fully automatic "set and forget" charger built to charge and maintain both Lithium LiFePO4 and lead-acid batteries fast, efficiently and safely. Using a 9-stage charging algorithm and the latest switch-mode charging technology, the iTECHBC8 doesn't just push current into a battery, it reads it, adapts to it, and looks after it.

The 9-stage process delivers a consistent, controlled charge with no voltage drop, then transitions automatically into a maintenance stage. That means the iTECHBC8 can stay permanently connected to your battery, keeping it topped up and healthy through weeks or months of storage without any risk of overcharging.

With charge profiles tailored specifically to Lithium LiFePO4 chemistry, as well as full support for conventional lead-acid batteries, the iTECHBC8 maximises and extends your battery's service life rather than shortening it. Its dedicated cold-weather mode adjusts the charge profile for low ambient temperatures, so the charger behaves correctly whether it's a Queensland summer or an alpine winter.

Like every iTechworld charger, the iTECHBC8 includes our innovative boost charge feature, which can activate an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode - recovering a battery that most chargers on the market simply won't recognise.

Designed and developed in Australia for the harsh Australian climate, the iTECHBC8 carries an IP65 waterproof rating and a sealed, natural-convection cooled body with no fan to fail or clog, so it's equally at home mounted in a caravan, a shed, a boat or a tray. A backlit LCD gives you live voltage, battery type, charge stage and state-of-charge at a glance, and a single one-touch MODE button cycles through every setting. Built-in protection covers short circuit, over-charge, reverse polarity and over-temperature, and the integrated rear hook lets you hang the unit rather than leaving it on the ground.

Supplied with both quick-connect battery clamps and a permanently-mountable eyelet/ring-terminal lead, the iTECHBC8 can be moved between vehicles in seconds or left hard-wired to a battery you charge regularly.
