The IR EarthBallast™ Mounting Kit for up to 12 solar modules is a versatile, durable, and non-invasive mounting solution for IntegraRack’s solar frames, including models IR-15, IR-30, IR-45, IR-35A, and IR-45ASA. Instead of concrete footings or screw-in anchors, this system uses your site’s own soil or gravel as ballast—held in place by geotextile fabric and industrial epoxy—to provide a stable foundation that’s fast to install and gentle on the environment.
This kit is ideal for projects where ground disturbance is limited, concrete is impractical, or fast deployment is required.

This bundle includes all necessary components for one installation set. One kit is typically required per racking section.
How It Works
- Prep: Use the scuff pad and alcohol wipes to clean the base tubes of the racking system.
- Apply Epoxy: Dispense the industrial-strength epoxy across the base contact points.
- Place Geotextile: Roll out and press the geotextile fabric onto the epoxy-covered base.
- Add Ballast: Fill with native earth, crushed rock, or similar site materials—each base typically requires ~700 lbs. of ballast.
- Complete Assembly: Secure racking and install panels as usual.
