Hyundai HYC6200X 62cc petrol chainsaw

Prepare firewood, cut larger logs and clear suitable fallen branches with the Hyundai HYC6200X. Its 62cc two-stroke petrol engine and 20″ / 50cm guide bar suit demanding domestic and occasional cutting jobs.

Petrol power and a 50cm guide bar

The engine delivers 3.8hp / 2.85kW at 8,500rpm, with a chain speed of 22m/s. Maximum engine speed is 11,000rpm. The 20″ / 50cm guide bar gives you reach for larger logs.

Starting and handling

Soft-pull easy-start recoil, a primer bulb and marked controls help with the starting routine. Follow the manual’s cold- and warm-start procedures. The HYC6200X weighs 6.9kg including bar and chain. Anti-vibration handles help reduce the vibration reaching your hands. A manual and inertia-activated chain brake is part of the saw’s safety system.

Adjustment and regular care

A side-mounted chain tensioner provides access for chain adjustment. It requires a tool. Adjustable automatic chain oiling lubricates the chain during use; check the oil level and maintain the saw as directed in the manual. Switch off the engine before adjustment or maintenance.

Two chains included

The kit contains the HYC6200X, 20″ / 50cm guide bar, two chains in total, carry bag, bar protector, fuel-mixing bottle, tool kit, user manual and service card.

Before you start

Read the manual, complete its pre-use checks and wear suitable chainsaw protective equipment. The engine uses a 40:1 mix of petrol and suitable two-stroke oil. Chain oil goes in a separate tank.
