Our Hex Dumbbells are manufactured from a solid cast iron core with premium rubber casing enclosing the entire head of the dumbbell. This single solid core provides superior weight tolerancing and a more balanced dumbbell.
The heads themselves are friction welded onto the handle of the dumbbell, preventing the heads from loosening or coming off with rigorous use. Cheaper alternatives will be made from offcuts welded together to bring the core up to weight, with the heads spin-locked onto the handle without a hardwearing fixing like welding.
