The EMAX Silent Air Industrial ES07V080V1 is a 7.5-horsepower, two-stage stationary air compressor built around an 80-gallon vertical air tank and a 100% cast-iron pump. It delivers 31 CFM at 100 PSI and 26 CFM at its 175 PSI maximum — enough continuous air for impact tools, sanders, grinders, plasma cutters, and busy automotive or fabrication shops running on single-phase power.

Two things set this unit apart on the shop floor. A patented SilentAir noise-suppression system keeps it at or below conversational volume, and a pressure-lubrication pump feeds oil under positive pressure to every bearing the way an automotive engine does. SilentAir Noise Suppression

EMAX's patented SilentAir silencer targets intake noise — the loudest part of a reciprocating compressor — with noise-reducing baffle plates and high-capacity filter media. The result is operation at or below conversational volume without the cost and restricted service access of a full enclosure cabinet. The silencer doubles as a high-capacity intake filter, keeping the pump fed with clean air.

Pressure-Lubrication Pump

A gear-driven oil pump mounted to the rear of the crankshaft generates positive oil pressure and feeds every bearing point continuously, the same way an automotive engine is lubricated. Each crankshaft and connecting rod is gun-drilled so oil reaches the piston pins and bearings directly, while a spin-on automotive-style oil filter keeps that oil clean. A liquid-filled gauge reads oil pressure at a glance, a bleeder valve makes priming quick, and an adjustable regulator dials in pressure across the RPM range. Pressure lubrication runs cooler and wears less than splash systems under continuous-duty loads.

100% Cast-Iron Construction

Every major component of the pump is cast iron — crankcase, cylinders, cylinder heads, connecting rods, crankshaft, and the high-pressure piston. Cast iron absorbs the heat and compression loads of high-duty-cycle work that wear aluminum components, with no aluminum sleeves hidden beneath the paint. The cylinders are CNC-machined and precision-honed for concentricity, which reduces oil carryover and extends ring life, and deep cooling fins pull heat away during long runs. The solid cast-iron heads use deep-bored, threaded bolt holes for proper torque retention and a disc-valve design that seals without retorquing.

Four-Ring Pistons & Cast-Iron Connecting Rods

The pump uses a four-ring piston design — two oil-control rings to clear excess oil on the downstroke and two compression rings to seal against blow-by — for better sealing and less oil carryover over the life of the pump. On this two-stage pump the high-pressure piston is cast iron for durability, while the low-pressure piston is aluminum where it runs under light load (around 45 PSI). The CNC-machined cast-iron connecting rods carry replaceable bearing inserts and wrist pins, so the rod assembly is fully rebuildable rather than throwaway.

Cast-Iron Flywheel & V-Belt Drive

A heavy cast-iron flywheel stores kinetic energy that smooths the load and lowers amp draw, while its fins move cooling air across the pump. This 7.5 HP unit runs a 20-inch flywheel with nine large cooling fins driving two B-groove belts. The wide multi-belt V-belt drive spreads load across more contact area than a single narrow belt, reducing tension and strain on the motor and pump bearings for quieter, longer-lasting operation.

CNC-Machined Disc Valves

Concentric-ring disc valves are surface-ground for a tight seal and long service life. When they need attention, you pull the retainer, lift the valve for inspection, and reinstall in minutes — no feather or reed-valve rebuild.
