The EMAX ERVK100001 is a 10 HP rotary screw air compressor built for shops that run air all day. Its oil-injected rotary screw air end delivers 45 CFM of continuous, steady airflow at up to 167 PSI and is engineered for 100% duty cycle, so it can run without the cool-down periods a piston compressor needs.

Air is stored in a 120-gallon horizontal tank, with a factory-mounted 58 CFM refrigerated air dryer that pulls moisture out of the compressed air before it reaches your tools and lines. A dual-timer electric auto drain clears condensate from the tank automatically, and the package ships with hydraulic hoses for the drain and air connections.

Controls run through EMAX's Smart Air programmable logic controller (PLC), which adjusts pressure, schedules run times, monitors the unit, and connects over Wi-Fi or ethernet so you can manage it from a phone, laptop, or other device.

This compressor ships via freight on a pallet. Smart Air PLC controls

The digital PLC lets you set pressure manually or remotely and program timed starts and stops for each day of the week. It tracks oil pressure, oil temperature, running hours, and tank pressure, shows a Hertz readout while the unit runs, and raises maintenance alarms when it is time to change filters and oil. A soft start and low-oil shutdown protect the motor.

Networked auto-demand operation

Over a single ethernet cable, the Smart Air system can link up to 50 Smart Air compressors that automatically synchronize and run on demand, so you can add compressed-air capacity as the shop grows while holding down energy waste.

Rotary screw air end

The oil-injected rotary screw air end uses matched male and female rotors to produce continuous, steady airflow. It is engineered for up to 100% duty cycle with an estimated air-end life of 100,000 hours.

58 CFM refrigerated air dryer

The factory-mounted refrigerated dryer cools the compressed air to condense out moisture, with a condenser coil and cooling fan that shed the heat pulled from the air stream. Drier air means less rust and water in your tools, lines, and finished work.

Swing-arm dryer mount

The dryer is carried on a swing arm that hinges away from the compressor, opening up the cabinet for easier service. This mount is used on EMAX's 5 HP to 20 HP package models.

Dual-timer auto drain

A dual-timer electric auto drain expels condensate and water from the tank on a schedule you set, with drain intervals adjustable from 1 to 45 minutes and an adjustable open time. An air muffler keeps the discharge quiet.

Multi-belt V-belt drive

A multi-belt drive system using wider B- and C-width V-belts spreads the load over more surface area, lowers belt tension on the motor and compressor bearings, and runs with less noise and vibration for long, low-maintenance service life.

Cooling system

A split-bar radiator and circulating fan cool the compressor oil and the air end's discharge on its way to the tank, reducing wear and excess moisture in the air system.

EMAX covers the rotary screw compressor with a 1-year standard warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, including the rotary screw pump, electric motor, and all components, with one year of warranty labor from an authorized technician. The refrigerated dryer carries its own 1-year standard warranty on parts, materials, and workmanship, also with one year of labor.

Longer coverage is available through EMAX's maintenance-based programs. Following EMAX's SMART OIL maintenance schedule can extend the compressor pump to a limited-lifetime warranty, with extended coverage on the motor and other components, and can extend the dryer to a 3-year warranty. These programs require keeping to EMAX's scheduled oil and filter changes using EMAX SMART OIL.
