EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Plus 5.02kWh LFP battery storage

The EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Plus 5.02kWh LFP Battery is a modular high-voltage battery pack for compatible EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Plus single-phase hybrid inverter systems. It stores surplus solar energy for use later in the day and can also support tariff-led charging and backup-power configurations when installed as part of a complete system.

Begin with 5.02kWh of nominal storage and expand the battery stack as household demand grows. Up to six battery packs can be installed in a floor-standing stack, reaching 30.12kWh nominal capacity. Wall-mounted configurations support up to three battery packs.

Where to use the EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Plus battery

The EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Plus 5.02kWh LFP Battery is intended for homes using a compatible OCEAN 2 Plus single-phase hybrid inverter. It can suit new solar-and-battery installations or systems being designed to expand in stages as electricity demand increases.

Typical applications include storing excess daytime solar generation for evening use, reducing grid import during higher tariff periods, and supporting a professionally designed whole-home or selected-load backup arrangement. Battery capacity should be selected around the property’s solar yield, overnight demand, heating, EV charging and expected future loads.

This battery is not a standalone power source and cannot be used without a compatible inverter and correctly designed system. Installation, commissioning, cable sizing, protection equipment and mounting must be completed by a competent installer.
