The Savvy Solar Post Caps are powered by a Lithium-Ion solar battery, similar to a cell phone battery, providing power & longevity that far surpasses the typical AA type solar batteries every other solar cap uses. That's not the only innovation built in to the Savvy Solar Cap either, inside the cap are Timer & Brightness controls. The solar battery can also be charged using one of Dekor's transformers. Dekor Savvy Solar Post Cap Lights are Made in the USA from recycled aluminum & powder coated with Dekor's heavy duty powder coating. Check the Instructions for more information on using the Savvy Solar Post Cap in colder weather. Recommended to turn off in cold weather.
