Mineral Magnet Metal Control
Mineral Magnet is a specially formulated sequestrant that helps prevent and remove copper stains from swimming pools, as well as other minerals and metal deposits.
Mineral Magnet works on all pool surfaces and, when used regularly, will help prevent new metal stains from forming.
Mineral Magnet can also be used when treating black algae to help soften the hard outer shell which protects black algae cells.
It helps stop mineral and metal deposits, removes and prevents metal staining and rust, removes and prevents scale, and is a must for heated pools, saving pool plumbing.
Mineral Magnet Control Directions For Use:
Add one quart per 6,500 gallons of pool water. In problem water areas, two quarts or more may be required per 6,500 gallons.
Ideally, Mineral Magnet should be diluted in a bucket of water and added to a circulating pool. When using metal control for topicals in pool stain identification, it should not be diluted.
Mineral Magnet should be used when treating black algae to help soften and remove the hard outer shells which protect black algae cells.
Normal maintenance levels for metal control are 10-12 ppm for scale and stain removal. It is important to monitor these levels in order to prevent staining in new and older pools.
Mineral Magnet levels are depleted as the product does its job. Your pool may require more or less metal control depending on the amount of contaminants in your pool.
Adding 1 1/2 ounces will raise the Mineral Magnet level 1 ppm in 6,500 gallons of pool water. Have a sequest test performed. Mineral Magnet is formulated to aid in the removal of stains on all pool surfaces and, when used on a regular basis, to help prevent new stains from occurring. Metal control is designed to work under normal water balance conditions.
