Description

CEMB 2-Hit Tire Dealer Wheel Balancer

A tire dealer's balancer is judged on one thing that a repair shop's is not: how many wheels it gets through in a shift, in the hands of whoever is standing in front of it. The 2-Hit is built around that. Its defining feature is an automatic positioning system that drives the wheel to the exact correction point and locks it there with an electromagnetic brake — so nobody spins a wheel by hand, squints at a mark and nudges it round again.

That single step is repeated on every weight of every wheel of every day. Removing it does more for throughput than any headline feature, and it removes it identically for the experienced fitter and the person who started on Monday.

Positioning Is the Step Nobody Times

Watch a balance cycle and the measured spin is the fast part. The time goes on what happens either side of it: getting the wheel onto the shaft, getting it centred, and hunting for the correction position by hand once the numbers are up. Hand-positioning also introduces the error that a good measurement cannot survive — a weight applied a few degrees off is a weight partly wasted, and the machine will simply ask for another one on the check spin.

The automatic system positions and locks instantly at the correction point, which means the weight goes where the calculation said and the check spin is far less likely to send the operator round again.

Multi-User Touch, Because More Than One Person Uses It

The touch interface supports multiple users. In a tire dealership that is not a luxury feature — the machine is shared across a shift, across a weekend crew, and often across staff with very different levels of experience. Individual users keep their own settings and working preferences instead of resetting somebody else's every time they walk up to it.

Around it, the design work is ergonomic rather than decorative: LED lighting illuminates the working area inside the rim, and a splash guard keeps the fitter and the floor clean during a spin. Those two matter most at the end of a long day, which is exactly when balancing errors get made.

How the Correction Itself Works

Correction runs through CEMB's One Plane Balancing. Where the machine calculates that a single counterweight applied inside the rim will cancel both the static and the dynamic component of the imbalance, it uses one weight instead of two and shows the operator exactly where it goes. Fewer weights means less material, less time and a cleaner-looking wheel — and on an alloy rim, one weight inside the barrel is a good deal less visible than two.

AutoAdaptive mode sets the working tolerance from the wheel's own weight and dimensions rather than applying one fixed threshold to everything, targeting the point at which vibration stops being felt through the steering wheel. LA Sonar measures the tire's tread depth, and a laser spotter with the matching system shows the placement point inside the rim. EMS Sonar — which detects eccentricity and, with the HubMatch procedure, lets a technician re-index a tire on its rim to cancel runout — is available as an option on this model.

Wheel locking is pneumatic, so clamping is fast and centres accurately without depending on how hard a cone was tightened. A measurement cycle takes around six seconds.

Will It Fit, and What Does It Need

Power is 220 V, single phase, plus compressed air for the pneumatic locking. Both need to be at the machine's position before delivery, and confirming that is the buyer's responsibility — the 220 V supply is the one worth checking rather than assuming.

Capacity: maximum tire diameter 40″ (1016 mm), maximum rim diameter 30″ (765 mm), maximum rim width 20″ (510 mm), and maximum wheel weight 165 lbs (75 kg). The machine ships at 485 lbs (220 kg). Site it with clear floor in front of the shaft, room to roll an assembly in from the side, and headroom for the guard to lift without meeting a shelf or a hose reel.

Perfect For

  • Tire dealers and high-volume fitting bays where wheels per shift is the number that matters.
  • Shops with shared or rotating staff, where multi-user settings and an automatic correction position keep results consistent between operators.
  • Retail-facing tire businesses fitting alloy wheels, where a single hidden weight is a visible quality difference.
  • Busy service departments adding a second balancer to take pressure off the main one.

What's in the Box

Supplied: pneumatic clamping and pneumatic wheel locking, the automatic positioning system with electromagnetic brake, the touch interface, the side laser for clip-on weight application, LA Sonar, the splash guard and LED work lighting. EMS Sonar is optional on this model and is not included as standard.

Certification, Stated Plainly

Nothing in the data we hold for this machine states a third-party safety listing or an independent conformity assessment. We could have left that unsaid — most product pages do — but a buyer who finds out during a procurement review rather than before ordering has a much worse afternoon than one who is simply told.

The people who ask are insurers writing a shop policy, fleet and public-sector purchasing offices, and some local inspectors, and what they want is a named document rather than a general assurance. Send us the exact wording before you order and we will take it to the manufacturer in writing.

Shipping and Delivery

This machine ships by freight to the lower 48. This item ships free, so there is nothing to add at checkout.

Decide before you order how the crate is coming off the truck. The driver brings the shipment to you; unloading it is the receiver's responsibility. Most shops take a machine of this weight off with a forklift. If you do not have one, choose terminal pickup instead and collect it with suitable equipment. Residential delivery is available and carries a residential fee, which is calculated at checkout when you select it.

Whichever you choose, inspect the crate before you sign anything. Walk the pallet, photograph crushed corners, punctures or a shifted load, and write the damage onto the bill of lading in words. A clean signature is a statement that the shipment arrived intact, and a concealed-damage claim is far harder to win afterwards. Call, text or chat with us if something looks wrong and we will open the claim alongside you.

Warranty

This machine carries the manufacturer's warranty, and our warranty claims page is where a claim starts. We have deliberately not restated the term or the covered components here, because the warranty document supplied with the machine is the governing text and it is the one a claim is settled against. Ask us and we will send you the current document before you order.

One practical warning that applies to every machine we sell: do not take a suspect component apart before a claim is open. Manufacturers routinely decline warranty on assemblies that have already been disassembled, because a stripped part can no longer be inspected for the cause of the failure. Photograph the fault, write down what the machine was doing when it happened, and call us first.
