More Info
Poly tarp cover. Polyethylene is the most common plastic usually used in cables, bottles, and containers. When used for tarps, strips of woven polyethylene are in the center. The central layer is then sandwiched by more sheets of polyethylene.
Denier. This is the mass in g per 9000 m. The larger the figure, the heavier the thread.
14x14 weave. Tarps with a 14 by 14 weave count are heavy-duty. This is the number of threads in one square inch.
Valance top. Valance tarps have flaps on the edges. This type of top cover should not be used for low peak canopies because it has a tendency to accumulate water.
