Installation Guide
- Ensure the engine is off and the battery is accessible.
- Connect the Red (+) eyelet to the positive battery terminal.
- Connect the Black (-) eyelet to the negative battery terminal.
- Secure the monitor to the battery casing using the provided adhesive backing.
- Download the "Battery Monitor BM2" app (or equivalent) and pair via Bluetooth.
Questions & Answers
Will this drain my battery if left connected?
No. The ACDC-BT uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology with a standby current of only ~1.5mA, which is significantly lower than the natural self-discharge rate of a standard vehicle battery.
How do I know if it is compatible?
It is compatible with any 12V lead-acid battery (Wet, MF, AGM, GEL). If your vehicle uses a standard 12V system, this is a guaranteed fit.
Does it require a constant internet connection?
No, it communicates directly with your phone via Bluetooth. Data is stored on the device and synced to the app whenever you are within range (approx. 10 meters).
Note: Please verify your battery voltage is 12V nominal before purchasing. Not suitable for 24V commercial systems unless two units are used on individual 12V batteries.
