This optional hardware kit changes how the Auxx-Lift platform mounts to your ceiling. In the standard setup, the long side of the platform runs parallel to your ceiling joists. With this kit, you can turn the platform the other way so it runs perpendicular to your joists instead.
The Auxx-Lift installs on almost any garage ceiling — rafters, open joists, or a sloped ceiling. The perpendicular orientation helps when your joists run the wrong way for the platform's standard layout, or when the open space above your garage suits a crosswise platform better. The kit re-anchors the platform across the joists with no change to the lift itself.

The kit is zinc-coated steel mounting hardware — rails, brackets, spring-loaded channel nuts, and bolts — sized to fit the Auxx-Lift platform. It is optional: you only need it when you want the perpendicular-to-joist orientation rather than the platform's standard parallel mount.
