The Atlas® Platinum PTC400 + PWB50 combo pairs a center-post swing-arm tire changer with a computer-controlled 2D wheel balancer so a single purchase covers the full mount-to-balance workflow. Both machines run on standard 110V single-phase power, both use Italian-engineered components, and both carry the same 2-year parts-only warranty.

PTC400 Center-Post Tire Changer
The PTC400 carries forward the layout of the popular PTC300 with a center-post design that reaches a 26-inch rim clamping capacity and a 43-inch maximum tire diameter. Its anodized aluminum bead breaker cylinder, high-torque 110V electric turntable, and integrated bead-blasting system handle low-profile performance tires and stiffer light-truck sidewalls. The left-hand bead pressing and lifting assist arm comes standard, not as an upcharge — the difference between two technicians wrestling a tire and one technician running the machine. A metal mount/demount head with replaceable plastic inserts protects alloy wheels, and the included filter/regulator/lubricator conditions the air supply for consistent bead breaker performance. The PTC400 requires an external air supply at 120–145 PSI and ships partially assembled.

PWB50 2D Computer Wheel Balancer
The PWB50 reads inputs through a single 2D data-entry gauge and delivers a 7-second cycle time at 130 RPM with 1-gram accuracy. Position resolution is 1.4°, and the OPTIMATCH match-mounting routine guides the operator through stubborn tire/wheel runout assemblies. The FES (Fast and Easy Split) function hides adhesive weights behind spokes; OPF (Opposite Position) swings weight placement from the 12 o’clock to the 6 o’clock position so the operator never reaches across the wheel. ALU-S and standard ALU programs are included, and the NWN (No Wheel Needed) function lets the machine self-calibrate without a reference wheel mounted. The hood auto-starts and auto-stops the spin cycle when lowered or raised, the brake operates automatically and via foot pedal, and a USB hub on the housing accepts firmware updates from a PC or notebook. No anchor-down installation is required.

What’s Included with the PWB50
The PWB50 ships with a plastic quick-release hub nut, four centering cones, wheel weight pliers, and measuring calipers. Replacement parts and wear items are stocked for both machines.
Logistics
This combo ships freight from Atlas Automotive Equipment. Please note that if you order an Atlas item, your delivery location must be able to accommodate a 53’ truck. The PTC400 ships at 620 lbs and the PWB50 ships at approximately 230 lbs (225 lbs on-pallet shipping weight per Atlas packaging documentation).
