True Water Wall Flow, Not Just a Scupper

Unlike a scupper that delivers an arc of water, the water wall spillway is designed to flow in contact with the vertical surface below the spout, creating the adhesion-effect "water wall" appearance where the sheet clings to the wall face as it descends. This effect requires a flat, smooth wall surface below the spillway and a flow rate matched to the 24-inch width — too high and the sheet bounces away from the wall; too low and it breaks into rivulets. The 600–1,800 GPH (2,271–6,814 LPH) range is optimal for the water wall effect on this size.

How to Install

Install at the top of a smooth, plumb vertical surface. Supply with 1.5-inch plumbing from a pump delivering 600–1,800 GPH. The wall surface must be perfectly plumb and smooth — textured or uneven surfaces break the water sheet into channels. Seal all wall penetrations fully. A basin or trough at the base captures returning water for recirculation.
