Featuring a rakeback front, ramped rear, and a PVC insert on both the tread and riser, this profile delivers superior safety and a clean, architectural finish.

As part of the trusted Tredsafe Aluminator® range, the ASL28 includes a glow-in-the-dark photoluminescent strip that charges under natural or artificial light and activates in darkness—improving step visibility during low-light or emergency situations. No power, wiring, or ongoing maintenance is required.

With a generous 75mm tread and 58mm riser, this profile is ideal for high-traffic environments such as schools, hospitals, transport hubs, and commercial stairways. The robust PVC insert provides excellent underfoot grip, while the ramped design offers smoother transitions between floor surfaces. Compatible with a variety of substrates including concrete, tile, vinyl, timber, steel, and checker plate. Supplied pre-drilled through the insert with colour-matched pips included.
