The ASL19 56 x 55mm Tredsafe Stair Nosing is a compact, slimline aluminium profile designed to deliver effective step-edge protection, DDA compliance, and enhanced visibility in both commercial and domestic environments. This profile features a durable, non-slip PVC insert and is compatible with a wide range of floor coverings and substrates.

Part of the Tredsafe Aluminator® range, the ASL19 includes an integrated photoluminescent strip that absorbs light from daylight or artificial sources and automatically illuminates in darkness or during power failures. This supports safer navigation and emergency evacuation — with no wiring or power supply required.

The profile is ideal for environments such as schools, transport hubs, healthcare facilities, and residential blocks, where safety, compliance, and visual contrast are essential. Compatible with surfaces like concrete, timber, tile, vinyl, steel, and checker plate, and available with a wide selection of insert colours to match or contrast the floor design.

Supplied pre-drilled through the insert, with colour-matched pips to conceal fixings. Undrilled and channel-only configurations with separately supplied inserts are available upon request. Fixings not included — installers should select suitable fixings or adhesives based on the subfloor.
