The Aquascape Ultra 800 Water Pump G3 Filter Sponge provides a direct replacement for the pre-filter foam on the Ultra 800 G3 submersible pump when the existing sponge can no longer be cleaned to adequate flow and needs replacement to restore full pump performance.

How to Use
Remove and unplug the pump. Remove the front cover and extract the old sponge. Insert the replacement and confirm full seating. Refit the front cover and reinstall. Rinse every 2 to 4 weeks during the season in pond water.
A sponge that no longer cleans to adequate flow passes debris directly to the impeller. The Ultra 800 G3 runs continuously in most pond setups, so a failed sponge accumulates impeller wear quickly. Replace at the first sign of persistent flow restriction after rinsing rather than waiting for output to drop noticeably at the waterfall or fountain head above.
