Aquascape Black Vinyl Tubing (9.5 mm / 3/8 in ID, 30.5 m / 100 ft) is a UV-resistant flexible vinyl tube for low-flow water feature plumbing applications. Small-Bore Tubing for Decorative Feature Control

Some water feature applications specifically benefit from a narrower bore: a small jet through a frog or turtle spitter, a trickling stream over a millstone, or a gentle bubbler in a patio container. The 9.5 mm (3/8 in) tubing produces these lower flow characteristics naturally without requiring additional flow restrictors. The black colour integrates visually with dark stone and substrate, and the 30.5 m (100 ft) roll provides sufficient length for extended routing runs or multiple short runs in a feature installation.

How to Use

Cut the tubing cleanly with a sharp utility knife. Push onto a 3/8 in barbed fitting until the barb teeth are fully covered. For low-pressure decorative applications, a zip tie or small hose clamp provides a secure enough connection. For pressurised runs, use a stainless hose clamp. Avoid exposing the tubing to direct sunlight for extended periods; bury it under stone or route it in shadow to maximise service life. Inspect annually for brittleness or cracking at the fitting connections.
