The Helix Max 2.0 UV Steriliser range is designed to improve water clarity and hygiene in freshwater and saltwater aquariums of varying sizes. Available in 5W, 9W, 11W, 18W and 36W versions, the range offers effective control of single-cell algae, helping to achieve crystal clear water while also reducing bacteria and water-borne parasites that can increase the risk of fish infections.

Each model uses controlled water flow and a large internal volume to maximise UV exposure. Water is directed along a spiral path around the quartz tube, allowing more efficient use of UV radiation compared to standard straight-flow UV sterilisers. This design improves overall performance while maintaining energy-efficient operation.

Installation is flexible and practical thanks to a 360° rotatable inlet fitting, allowing the unit to be mounted at almost any angle and supporting space-saving installations inside aquarium cabinets. Maintenance is simple, with easy disassembly providing access to the inner spiral for routine cleaning.

All Helix Max 2.0 units are equipped with high-frequency electronic ballasts suitable for both freshwater and saltwater use. These electronic ballasts help extend UV lamp lifespan and maintain consistent operating performance. An integrated viewing window allows simple and safe visual function checks, and hose nozzles are supplied for straightforward hose connection.
