Aquacadabra Phosmax – Phosphate Removal Filter Media for Freshwater & Marine Aquariums

Maintain cleaner, healthier aquarium water with Aquacadabra Phosmax, a high-performance filter media designed to help reduce phosphate (PO₄) levels in both freshwater and marine aquariums. Excess phosphates can contribute to unwanted algae growth and reduced water quality, making regular phosphate control an important part of aquarium maintenance.

Phosmax works by absorbing phosphates from the water and, once phosphate removal capacity has been reached, also helps reduce silicates. It can also help minimise unpleasant odours caused by overfeeding and poor filter maintenance, supporting a cleaner and fresher aquarium environment.

Suitable for use in most aquarium filtration systems, 350g of Phosmax treats up to 200 litres of water, removing up to 5ppm of phosphate. For optimum performance, replace the media approximately once a month or when phosphate levels begin to rise.

Directions for Use: Place Phosmax inside your aquarium filter. For best results, perform regular partial water changes, siphon the substrate, clean your filter and monitor phosphate levels using a suitable aquarium test kit.
