Aquacadabra NITRAMAX Nitrate Filter Media

Aquacadabra NITRAMAX is a medium grain filter material designed to help control nitrates in both freshwater and marine aquariums. Nitrates are the final stage of the nitrogen cycle and can become harmful if left unchecked, so regular monitoring and maintenance are important for keeping aquarium water in good condition.

NITRAMAX works in three ways: it helps absorb nitrates and ammonia, supports the colonisation of denitrifying anaerobic bacteria, and helps maintain more stable water conditions by reducing the build-up of elements that can contribute to algae growth.

Directions For Use

• 240g reduces 20mg/lt in 50lt of water to be treated
• Replace the product once a month and/or whenever nitrates begin to increase
• For best results, monitor water quality regularly

Maintenance Advice

• If nitrate levels become too high, carry out a partial water change of up to 30%
• Use nitrate-free osmotic water where appropriate
• Siphon the bottom of the aquarium during maintenance
