How UV Clarification Works
UV light at the right intensity disrupts the reproductive cycle of single-celled algae, causing suspended cells to clump together. Your filter captures those clumps and pulls them out of the water column. The 35W high-output format delivers enough UV energy to clear green water in medium-sized ponds within 3 to 7 days of installation.
