Why a slider, not a roller

The sliding assembly runs on a plastic slider designed to move smoothly along the runways under load-free repositioning. On a rail-less lift that is the only mechanism available: there is no track to capture a wheel, so the jack has to bear and glide on the runway surface itself. The practical consequences are worth knowing before you buy. It moves easily, so it can be positioned precisely under a lifting point rather than approximately. It also means the runway surfaces matter — a runway with a badly chipped or contaminated top surface will not give a slider an easy life, which is a maintenance point rather than a defect.

The ergonomic guardrail is deliberately shaped to double as a booster handle for gliding the jack into position, so repositioning is a push rather than a wrestle.

Shipping and Delivery

Freight only, to the lower 48, priced live against your address at the checkout so the figure is today's rather than a stale estimate. Getting it off the truck is the customer's arrangement — a forklift, a loading dock, or collection from one of our warehouses. Deliveries to residential addresses carry a residential fee.

Inspect before you sign. Damage to arms, pads or a pump handle can hide under packaging, so open it while the driver waits if you are able, photograph whatever you find, and note it on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. Without that note a freight claim has almost nothing to stand on.
