Part of the Tredsafe Aluminator® range, this profile features a photoluminescent glow-in-the-dark insert that charges from ambient lighting—daylight or artificial—and activates in darkness or power loss. This safety feature enhances visibility of stair edges and risers without requiring electricity, batteries, or maintenance, supporting safer evacuation during emergencies.

The anti-slip Tredsafe insert provides maximum grip for high-footfall environments. The AHD24 is supplied pre-drilled through the insert for quick screw-fix installation, complete with colour-matched pips for a clean finish. Undrilled or drilled channel-only options are available with separately supplied inserts upon request. Fixings not included—installer must choose suitable fixings for the subfloor or adhesive application.
