The AHD08 71 x 55mm Non-Slip Tredsafe Stair Nosing is a heavy-duty safety profile designed for high-traffic commercial, industrial, and public access staircases. Featuring a wide 71mm tread and 55mm riser, this profile offers robust step-edge protection, combined with a durable Tredsafe anti-slip insert for superior grip underfoot.

As part of the advanced Aluminator® range, this profile includes an integrated photoluminescent insert that charges under daylight or artificial light and automatically illuminates in darkness or during power failures. This glow-in-the-dark system helps evacuees identify stair edges and risers, improving orientation and supporting safer emergency evacuation—with no need for electricity, wiring, or ongoing maintenance.

Supplied pre-drilled through the insert for screw fixing, with matching pips included for a seamless finish. Optional undrilled profiles or drilled channels with separately supplied inserts are available on request. Fixings not included—installer must select appropriate methods based on the subfloor or adhesive option.
