Important Installation Note
Voltage Requirement: This panel is a low-voltage module (Vmp 12.1V). To charge a 12V battery system effectively, it is recommended to use a Buck-Boost charge controller, or connect two or more panels in series when using a standard MPPT controller to ensure the voltage threshold is met.

Can I walk on this panel?
Yes, CIGS panels are designed to be walkable. They are shatterproof and resistant to the micro-cracking that typically destroys traditional panels when under mechanical stress.
How does it handle shade?
This panel features bypass diodes between every single cell. If one part of the panel is shaded, only those specific cells stop producing power, while the rest of the panel continues at full capacity.
What kind of controller do I need?
Because the voltage is 12.1V, we highly recommend a Buck-Boost MPPT controller for a single-panel 12V setup. Contact Solarika technical support if you need assistance with controller selection.
