This kit is designed for DIY or professional installation. The panel should be bonded to the surface using a suitable adhesive (Sikaflex 252 or similar). Ensure the mounting surface is clean and degreased. The charge controller must be installed in a dry, ventilated indoor location. Connect the battery to the controller first, then the solar panel.

Can I walk on this solar panel?
While reinforced with an internal aluminium plate, we recommend avoiding regular heavy foot traffic. Occasional walking with soft-soled shoes on a fully bonded flat surface is generally acceptable, but not recommended for maximum longevity.
What makes ETFE better than PET coating?
ETFE is a superior fluoropolymer that does not yellow or delaminate over time. It has better light transmittance and is much tougher against physical abrasion and chemical exposure than standard PET plastics.
